We meet 11 years ago.

Our chemistry in music matched very quickly and we started to practice together.

We gave it a shoot and I was totally cared away by the sound of his Turkish kaval-flute.

His play was so unorthodox at so many ways, his dynamic was so large, his musical fantasy was so original…
I was blown away :-)

But Dan moved to Copenhagen and it wasn´t possible to continue. There was feeling of some unfinished business...

Then, in 2013, Dan was the first one to participate my new project, when I´ve looking for people.

At our concerts we would like to take our audience on the wonderful musical journey from east to west in our Gypsy Wagon.
  1. With a camel caravan from the Caucasus Mountains in the east on through Turkey;
  2. Visiting the city of Odessa on the Black Sea north coast;
  3. Up the Volga river in a dinghy with Stenka Rasin and Ivan Rebroff;
  4. In a gypsy wagon with Emir Kusturica through the north of Europe and England;  In a houseboat down a French river with Django Reinhart as inspiring companion.

We get our inspiration from gypsy and folk music of various kinds.

We write the music ourselves for the most part, but there are also some good evergreens on the list ...

We actually playing all kinds of concerts: classical concerts, café club concerts, private parties - you name it.

This is gypsy music - sexy and danceable, sad and pensive, but always with a twinkle in his eye and a glissando on the string. (Guitar 2011)

Fun and fascinating it is to listen to the sad songs and tunes from eksilrusseren Kirill Koniouchkov Geddes homeland. (Funen County Newspaper.)

This is also a Nordic folk music, along with Dan Selchau get repertoire resonance in the Nordic tradition, where Dan is at home. The large variation in the total repertoire is actually one of the strengths of the experience of these two musicians. (Funen County Newspaper.)

There are gypsy tones, but there are also klezmer (Jewish) blast from the Russian steppes, newer ingratiating melodies of Nordic nature and French gypsy jazz.

It is in very good company with Kirill and band, the musicians know their stuff, and it oozes good atmosphere around them. (Svendborg online newspaper)
